Dr. Justin Smestad grew up in a small town of Minot, North Dakota were he was active in high school with wrestling, concert band, and jazz band. While competing as a wrestler, he received multiple injuries from the demanding sport. He found a local Chiropractor that specialized in sports rehab and was able to get out of pain and remain healthy and active in the sport. At the time, a seed was planted to pursue a career in the field of Chiropractic.
Dr. Smestad received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Minot State University in North Dakota. Afterwards, he traveled to California and found his passion in the outdoors of rock climbing and slack lining in the wonderful Yosemite National Park. Shortly after, he attended Palmer School of Chiropractic in the Bay Area of San Jose, CA. During school, he remained as an active rock climber in Yosemite while learning all the skills of Chiropractic and sports rehab to help build his "tool box" of multiple ways to treat different conditions.
After graduating Chiropractic school, Dr. Smestad followed his heart to move to the Front Range region of Colorado, with his best dog "Bishop" the husky, for his continue love of the mountains and the active lifestyles the friendly people of the community brings, and pursued to set up a mobile/house call Chiropractic service that can keep up with the active lifestyles of the people.
